Ponder & Pitch: A Journey of Growth and Gratitude

Scroll

When I first started Ponder & Pitch, it was just me, alone in an empty apartment which now I call home with my loving family. Luckily at the time I had friends who trusted me enough to become my very first clients. Looking back, that trust was everything. Four years on, something remarkable has happened. Every client who has trusted us along the way has, somehow, become a friend. It is not something I set out to do. It is simply the way I work, unknowingly blurring the line between business and friendship. And I count it as one of my biggest blessings.

From those early days, the studio has grown into a team of six to eight creatives depending on the time of year, each one bringing a unique craft and energy. Together, we have turned Ponder & Pitch into more than a workplace. It is a space where ideas are given room to stretch, where play sits beside precision, and where good work is always grounded in honesty.

In August 2024, we took an important step forward. We moved into new offices and began collaborating more closely with Nest Creative and my long-time friend Rodney Gauci. Though we remain two separate companies, we share more than just walls. We share a spirit of collaboration, of helping each other where we can, of combining our strengths to give clients the complete package. The result is a larger team that feels seamless, one where skills overlap and stories are shared, and where the work is all the stronger for it.

Of course, growth has not been without lessons. One of the first was patience. Building a company is rarely about quick wins. It is about giving time for trust to form, both within the team and with the clients we serve. Another lesson has been humility. Creativity thrives when you listen. The best campaigns we have produced have been born not from shouting the loudest, but from hearing what others could not quite put into words.

Life has taught me to notice the small details. The late nights in the office and the little buzzing ideas that keep me up at night. The relief of a campaign that lands just as we imagined. The moments when someone on the team surprises us all with a new idea. These are the things that matter more than milestones or titles. They are reminders of why we started and why we keep going.

Ponder & Pitch is no longer the story of one person. It is the story of a group of people who believe in creativity that feels, thinks, and endures. A team that works hard but also knows how to enjoy the ride. And it is a reminder to me, every day, to appreciate life as it comes, the challenges, the surprises, the friendships, the lessons.

The work will keep evolving. The team will grow. The collaborations will deepen. But at the heart of it all, there will always be the same thread: trust that turns into friendships.
