In an exciting and dynamic collaboration, we teamed up with Garmin Malta, the main host and sponsor, alongside The Jungle Box and Warehouse, in organising an unforgettable fitness event. This was also the very first of its kind to take place in Malta, and we are truly honoured we were entrusted with taking care of the marketing aspect of it as well as live coverage of the event!
The Junglebox x Warehouse Hyrox Challenge brought together fitness enthusiasts and athletes from various backgrounds, pushing boundaries and fostering a strong sense of community. All proceeds from this event went towards supporting the ALIVE Foundation, a charitable organisation dedicated to raising funds for cancer research.
Our role was multifaceted and practical. We kept everyone informed through comprehensive social media coverage, sharing event highlights such as social media posts, Instagram stories and a number of reels before and throughout the event. We designed visually appealing large-format prints and other print materials on location during the event to generate anticipation, serving as reminders of the upcoming fitness event.
Our strategic content plan, spanning 11 weeks, included:
- A thorough explanation of the Hyrox Challenge. Considering this was the first time an event such as this was taking place in Malta, it was crucial for all athletes to understand what they are signing up for.
- Generic announcements such as team waves, times as well as any pre-race meeting briefings were posted on the Garmin socials, keeping all athletes informed and up-to-date.
- This event was important to also raise awareness on the ALIVE Foundation as all proceeds eventually went to this charitable organisation as well.
- And of course, artworks surrounding the rules and important notices of the event were created and posted.
This event went beyond being merely a fitness competition. It showcased the strength of the community, the commitment to excellence, and the aspiration to make a positive impact in our lives.
